Our Fearless Leaders

A perfect blend of entrepreneurial and corporate experience, the OCS executive team stands out in the healthcare industry - providing focused leadership and promoting a clear and open dialogue with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Amanda Twiss, CEO

Acknowledged as an authority in the field of healthcare analytics, Amanda Twiss currently serves as the CEO of both OCS and My InnerView - the post-acute division of National Research Corporation (NRC).

Her experience as a founder and leader of several successful analytics companies spans the healthcare continuum with deep acute, post-acute, long-term care, physician, and dental experience.

Prior to leading OCS and My InnerView, Amanda co-founded OCS and guided the company's growth from a start-up to a nationally recognized analytics provider serving the post-acute market. The company was named among the Deloitte "Technology Fast 50" fastest growing technology companies for 8 consecutive years before its acquisition by NRC in 2010. Prior to OCS, Amanda was a part of the founding team of HBSI (subsequently Solucient) - another successful company offering hospital informatics and physician profiling. Amanda also served as CEO and co-founder of Dentra, a pioneering analytics company serving payers and providers in the dental industry. Earlier in her career, Amanda worked as a consultant, a regulator in long-term care, and as a hospital planner.

Joe has participated in the Joint Commission's team to examine indicators for quality assessment for accreditation. He also participated in national summits with AHRQ, CMS, AARP, the VA, and other leading healthcare providers to develop a standardized tool to measure and report patient experiences in the hospital arena - leading to the development and implementation of HCAHPS, the standardized patient experience assessment tool for acute care hospitals. Thousands of attendees at conferences have heard Joe speak on the resident, family, and employee satisfaction, patient experience, healthcare organization performance, and quality improvement.
